Painting Changing Flowers.
Aw! This was a difficult one to paint, but I love how it ended up. This one took hours and hours. The full session was recorded and put in my Floral Course.
Why was it difficult? The winds were strong outside, you might know I paint mostly outside, and the tulip was not only moving but also, in the heat of the sun, quickly changing, so much changing, it was a real ‘tour de force’, then again, the wonderful pieces sometimes take that extra ‘suffering’. True!
FL05-2018 Floral Painting ‘Red Tulip’
A day and night difference!
One of the remedies: working fast. Or notice fast. Then remember the first view. For the tulip, I couldn’t chase the change. Because it didn’t become more pretty.
But for the green stuff and other bits, I did follow the change.
Recorded in a demo – find it in the Floral Course here.
