Seascape Pleinair Rain and Umbrella

Seascape Pleinair Rain and Umbrella

I was painting with friends here when it got real nasty. Rain, heavier winds, they went for shelter, but somehow I wanted to paint it, although I know the paint won’t stick as good, I had inspiration to try it. Yes I taped the umbrella to the easel, made sure the bags with sand would keep it on the ground, braced myself, and painted. The great thing about rain is the people with umbrellas walking the beach. Total new shapes. Those little things inspire me.

    Hi Roos
Thank you for your blog and latest information . I would like to paint with you sometime. Love your work, and the cow “detail” image of your cow paintings is amazing. Need to get my spark back again.
    Kind regards
    Jessie
