Shoreline and Backlight in Summer.
Proud of this one. When my kids would be on this one, I wouldn’t have sold it :-)
When I paint these ‘pastel’ backlit paintings, I think about the Russian painters.
And yes they often like it, I can see on Facebook. About the Russians: it’s great to see these painters like the same thing I like. The swift and loose – yet the realistic light effects, realistic forms.
Some ‘critics’ say they like my impressionistic stuff better than “this expressionistic stuff”, however, I love to Transform, to ride the ‘uncertain’ wave of development.
The Artist him/herself has no real say in this. I think, I know. Wherever the future will take us. Let it go, let it flow. Divine inspiration.
