Painting Clouds Seascape “Sky and Clouds”

Painting Clouds: The Moment

A sky goes from white to grey, from filled with clouds to ’empty blue’. Here I witnessed a moment when I was thinking “My these clouds are brown’ so I started this painting with that idea. After a while colors changed. Then you can ‘let go’ of the moment and just concentrate on your painting. Is it a good compo? Should I ‘fade out’ certain edges, while leaving others the way they are, and so on. For this looking into the mirror to objectively ‘see‘ is very helpful. (Post about mirror is here¬†)
