Seascape ‘Good Times In Summer’

Same Place Different Results.

This painting is from a year ago. I skipped many, so here it is now.

This is the same spot as my demo for Pleinairlive showed, yet so different in the end-result.

I found the time of day and slight weather differences to create the biggest light and color differences. Yes, obviously, and very logical, but it’s really stunning how such small (tiny) differences in weather and atmosphere can cause a fully different color palette. A tiny bit or vapour or damp in the sky instantly changes the full scene colorwise.

Here a scene in which morning light and morning colors and shades are combined with a midday atmosphere.
